Gideon Taylor, headquartered in Pleasant Grove, Utah, is a PeopleSoft custom solutions provider for business, education and government organizations. Most often this entails a two-pronged consulting approach. The first prong is a focus on the technology infrastructure through packaged and custom solutions that help IT systems become adept and flexible in automating important business processes. The second prong entails seeking to understand the human and social aspects of client organizations and their processes, which allows us (and our clients) to recognize and to remove barriers to improvement, and to leverage existing human and organizational capabilities to simplify and speed up important processes.

Gideon Taylor consultants possess a wide range of technical and organizational skills, including facility with all aspects of PeopleSoft's PeopleTools platform, database and infrastructure management, Web Services and other XML-based integration technologies. We have worked through several generations of PeopleSoft products, and have experience across a wide range of PeopleSoft applications. Our experience covers the full enterprise product life-cycle, including implementation, upgrade, integration between PeopleSoft modules and with legacy applications, reporting and maintenance. In short, we have the technical skills to solve our clients' problems.

Our organizational knowledge arises from our work in a number of diverse organizations and businesses. In the higher education market alone we have worked with small private colleges (The University of St. Thomas ), a public teaching university (Utah Valley State College), and two tier-one institutions, Brigham Young University (Large, Private), and the University of Florida (Large, Public). We have observed, participated in, and helped redesign a wide variety of organizational configurations. This experience helps us understand both the strengths and weaknesses of our clients' existing organizational structures, and bring to bear our knowledge of alternative arrangements, in order to help clients implement the most efficient and effective automated business processes.
