BYU Begins Implementation of Gideon Taylor I-9/E-Verify Solutions

Building on one of the longest-running Gideon Taylor success stories, Brigham Young University has chosen to implement GT Paperless I-9™ and GT E-Verify Integration™. BYU took most of their hiring processes completely paperless in 2005 using GT ePAF™, with the exception of the Form I-9, which at that point could only be completed on paper. Using the GT Paperless I-9™, they will now break that final paper barrier.
The GT Paperless I-9™ will also be enhanced for kiosk-based use, appropriate for BYU's centralized I-9 completion process.
Like most US research universities, BYU became subject to the E-Verify Federal Contractor Rule this month, requiring that employees working on certain federal contracts have their employment eligibility verified using the Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system. The GT E-Verify Integration™ will make this process practically automatic, reducing data entry and required training, and enhancing compliance.
GT Adds Job Posting eForm to eForm Library

As part of an initiative to pioneer a bolt-on recruiting solution for PeopleSoft, Gideon Taylor has created a prototype eForm, called GT ePost™, to streamline and simplify the job posting process. A departmental user is guided through the creation of a job posting request, which can be routed through a customized list of approvers. Upon final approval, the job posting is automatically entered into PeopleSoft's Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) and posted to the web.
While PeopleSoft's recruiting solutions, Candidate Gateway (CG) and TAM, enjoy the advantages of close integration with the HCM system, many users have found the user interfaces cumbersome and the business processes complicated and time-consuming. Gideon Taylor's GT Recruiting initiative will replace delivered TAM and CG problem spots with easy-to-use, eForms-based front ends, enhanced with easily-configurable workflow. The job application will be among the "updated" business processes.
