GT eForms™ 2.8 Cuts Development Time Even More
25 September 2009

The vital purpose of GT eForms™ has always been to cut the time it takes to develop workflow-enabled applications for PeopleSoft. Reports from our development teams in the field indicate that building applications with the newest version of the toolset, GT eForms™ 2.8, is faster than ever.

Developers on current projects that are building start-to-finish with GT eForms™ 2.8 estimate a 20% to 40% decrease in development time compared to 2.7.

GT eForms™ reduces the total number of pages that need to be built, automates creation of navigation pages, and moves approval lists completely online. Developers report that the new Visual IF functionality, which allows line-item conditions to be added to approval steps, notifications and checklist items, greatly simplify the Condition setup for complex workflow.

One developer reported that when user requirements for workflow routing changed drastically, the whole workflow structure was reconfigured and ready for testing in two hours.

GT eForms™ 2.8 is available to existing licensees at no additional license cost.
