City of Boston Launches Ambitious eForms Initiative

Our Gideon Taylor consulting team has been working for the past two weeks with team members and sponsors from the City of Boston, analyzing opportunities for eForms automation to dramatically simplify business processes. From our resulting recommendations, the City has chosen a broad and ambitious range of objectives for our initial GT eForms™ project, including HR, benefits and financials solutions.
These objectives include:
- Automating all personnel actions using the ePAF™ Hire, Job Change, and Status Change eForms
- Position Request eForm (PRC)
- Budget Amendment eForm (updates Position Data and Department Budget Tables)
- Budget Administrative Overtime and Stipends eForm
- Leave Buy-Back eForm
- Vendor Enrollment eForm
GT eForms™ will be installed in both the HCM and Financials systems. The Vendor Enrollment eForm will be a self-service eForm for vendors to enroll with the City, and as such will be our first public-facing eForm solution for the PeopleSoft Financials platform.
