GT E-Verify QuickStart Services
On March 31, 2010, Utah Governor Gary Herbert signed into law SB251, “Verification of Employment Eligibility,” making it mandatory for all Utah employers with 15 or more employees to use E-Verify starting July 1, 2010. Everyone expected the Governor to call a special session to revise the law to make it voluntary for one year and then mandatory starting July 1, 2011. However, the Governor has since decided that no special session will be called. The deadline will remain July 1, 2010 - any Utah employers not enrolled in E-Verify after that date will be violating State law. Gideon Taylor is offering a range of services to help Utah businesses comply with this sudden State mandate. Consider which option or options below would help your organization comply, and click for more information.
