Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee all aspects of our accounts payable process. A clear understanding of the importance of processing timely payments to vendors is critical. To be successful in this role, you will need to fully understand and follow our processes and procedures including month-end requirements and deadlines. While accounts payable will be your focus, there will also be other day-to-day administrative and/or accounting responsibilities assigned as identified. The right candidate will be experienced, organized, and articulate as well as analytical, detail- oriented, honest, and willing to be taught. This is a 40-hour-per-week, on-site employment opportunity.

Requirements and Skills

At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping
Minimum of 1-year previous experience in accounts payable
Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred

What you’ll do:

The Consultant will help with the requirements, fit/gap, review of design & development, testing, upgrade, and implementation of major enhancements, and operations & maintenance of the PeopleSoft Financials Modules ( Pay/Bill, Contracts, Project Costing, Billing, AR, GL, AP PC).
Work with user community to implement and/or enhance business processes in PS applications. Work with 3rd parties and internal applications team to integrate PS with respective applications; provide ongoing support for PS applications.

Basic Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading requirements development and testing and business support for design, development, testing, and deployment solutions and support data analysis functions for commercial entities and state agencies.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science / Engineering or Information Systems or other relevant professional degree
5+ years of overall experience in requirements development, fit/gap, systems design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of applications.

Responsibilities

This Senior Analyst’s primary responsibility is to develop and implement new PeopleSoft-based automation solutions for clients, including using GT eForms™. GT eForms™ enables functional development of workflow-enabled electronic forms and self-service applications inside PeopleSoft.
